Concert-goers across the US have come to know Dewey Beach as a music festival paradise; a place where you can go for a good drink while listening to great up-and-coming bands and musicians all summer long.
Summer 2017 will be no different in Dewey Beach, and it may be even better than expected for country music fans heading to the area!
To kick off the summer season, Highway One Group (which owns local club Bottle & Cork) will be hosting a concert series at nearby Hudson Fields.
The first concert of the series has already been announced, with breakout country group Old Dominion hitting the stage on Thursday, June 1, 2017.
Ranging in price from $25 to $50 each, tickets are already on sale with VIP seating and general admission tickets available.
This will be Old Dominion’s fourth concert with the Bottle & Cork team, and all of us in the Dewey Beach area are excited to have them back again.
The experience is just as exciting for the group, especially lead singer Matthew Ramsey, whose family spent their summers in Rehoboth Beach.
Ramsey was quoted in an article on DelawareOnline.com saying, “I was talking to my brother the other day and I told him that we’re playing Delaware again. I said I thought it was outside and he goes, ‘What are you going to do, play the Rehoboth Beach Bandstand?’”
