Country Music Coming to Dewey BeachThe weather is warming up and so is the upcoming festival season. One particular event is especially drawing country and Americana music lovers to the Dewey Beach area this May.

The Dewey Beach Country Americana Festival will be held May 5-6, 2017, at The Rusty Rudder, 113 Dickinson Street, Dewey Beach in Delaware. The annual festival will feature 13 country and Americana bands and musicians on two stages spread out across two action-packed nights of entertainment and fun.

What better way to kick of the beginnings of summer than enjoying the warm weather and listening to live entertainment with a drink in hand?  Another bonus . . . . the event is free to attend.  Attendees must be 21 years and older and have a valid state ID to enter.

Whether you’re just looking for a fun weekend activity or looking for a road trip, the Dewey Beach Country Americana Festival is a great option to dust off your cowboy boots and hat for a good time.

Doors open at 9 pm on Friday, May 5, while doors open two hours earlier at 7 p.m. on Saturday, May 6.
